I am happy to announce the release of the Sage Metering 200 and 300 Series thermal mass flow meters, providing low-cost choices for gas mass flow measurement.

Low-Cost Thermal Mass Flow Meter

New Low-Cost Thermal Mass Flow Meter Released |Sage 200 and 300
The Sage 300 is a low-cost alternative to the Prime thermal mass flow meter; measure gas flow with the same level of performance without some premium features.

The Sage 200 and 300 are economical alternatives to our Sage Prime, our flagship product. The new products offer our customers the option of purchasing a lower-cost meter that has the same performance as the Prime, without some premium features. The 200 and 300 meters are highly accurate, repeatable with excellent low-end sensitivity.

The new meters have a simpler display format that saves the end-user money (they are also available in a blind configuration for additional savings). The display provides flow rate, total flow, and temperature. If the end-user needs the onsite or in-situ calibration verification, it is still recommended to remain with the Sage Prime meter.

Sage 200 and 300

The 300 is available in the U.S. and Canada, while the 200 is available for the remaining International market. Both meters are agency-approved for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous areas and are CE approved. The meters are available with 24 VDC or 90-265 VAC input power, and like other Sage meters, they have the lowest power dissipation in the industry. The 200 and 300 have both 4-20 mA signal and pulsed output of totalized flow, and Modbus RTU with RS-485 communications is optional.

Both meters are available in integral or remote electronics. The remote design offers lead length compensation up to 1000 feet and uses a NEMA 4 and explosion-proof junction box. All units come calibrated from the Sage NIST traceable calibration facility and preconfigured with the specified process and installation parameters for the application.
