Open for Business Amid COVID-19
To our Valued Customers, Representatives, and Distributors,
Sage Metering is monitoring the rapidly changing situation involving the coronavirus (COVID-19). I would like you to understand that our priority is the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, distributors, representatives, and their families.
I am continually assessing the situation and have implemented many protocols to meet our goals for everyone’s safety as well as to continue to provide products for the essential infrastructure we serve. With these best practices in place, our production facility will continue to operate, and we are optimistic that there will be minimal supply disruption.
To maintain business continuity and protect our stakeholders, employees, and customers, we have implemented some changes to the operation of our business. However, I feel the enhanced safety measures will not significantly impact our excellent customer service.
The most significant change is that the majority of the non-production employees began working remotely, from their homes, on March 18. This set up will remain until the situation changes. We believe our customers, representatives, and distributors will still receive full support through telephone, internet, and other communication tools as needed (such as Skype, Zoom, and other applications).
Essential production employees remain working at the factory. Both groups of employees are strictly adhering to cleanliness and social distancing standards set forth by the CDC. Those production employees at the factory exceed the recommended social distances because many of our employees have their own workspace and those who don’t are well over 10 feet away. Additionally, the staff has all the essentials needed, from face masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, Clorox wipes, tissues, and more, to help prevent the spread of the virus.
I want you to understand how much all of us at Sage Metering value your business and friendships with you. Thank you for your support, your understanding, and your continued business during this challenging time.
May you be safe, and all of us find that kernel of good in this unfamiliar situation.
Bob Steinberg,
President
