Sage Metering has an opening for a mechanical design engineer to lead its Engineering group in producing new concepts for gas flow meters, product improvements, cost reductions, and more at our Monterey CA headquarters.
About Sage Metering
Sage Metering manufactures high-performance thermal mass flow meters that measure gas flow rate and consumption for multiple industries and municipal and commercial applications. We are privately owned, founded in 2002, with worldwide sales channels through US and international agencies.
We have been on the leading edge of thermal mass flow development, introducing the first digital method of driving the sensor (versus the traditional drift-prone Wheatstone bridge). This breakthrough and our easy on-site calibration method opened new markets for thermal mass flow meters in environmental applications to report greenhouse gases.
Seeking Mechanical Design Engineer
We are not seeking a cookie-cutter mechanical design engineer. The right candidate has a BSME or BSEE degree, has the required experience, is a team player, and is an individual who recognizes the benefits of being a star performer in a small yet rapidly growing business rather than being an ordinary performer in a big company.
If you have ten plus years of experience with engineering design, thermodynamics, flow, and manufacturing and are familiar with machine designs and CAD (preferably SolidWorks), begin the conversation with us by submitting your cover letter, including salary requirements and resume to Gary Russell.
